Since we will be arriving mid-day again this year, you will have time to take care of ski rentals on Wednesday afternoon. We will also have dinner and activities together Wednesday evening.

Dallas Gorillas
We are using Frontier Airlines. Please call beforehand (1-800-432-1359) or scroll to the DFW Metroplex - Dallas / Fort Worth International (DFW) section below to find the correct gate/terminal, then look for the Yellow Caps when you arrive at DFW.

Houston Gorillas
You fly out of George Bush Intercontinental Airport on Continental Airlines. Please call beforehand (1-800-784-4444) or scroll to the Houston - George Bush Intercontinental (IAH) section below to find the correct gate/terminal, then look for the Yellow Caps when you arrive at the Continental ticket counter.

Be informed when you arrive at your airport for departure to Copper Mountain!
Hotel
We will be staying at Copper Mountain Resort (970 968-2882) in 2BR/2Bath condos (Village Square, Mountain Plaza or Westlake) with 5 or 6 Gorillas in each. Most units will have 4 beds and a sleeper sofa. A few units will have 3 beds which will means one person will be on an air mattress (to be determined by the group in that unit).
For those riding the Gorilla Shuttle, we will do a group check-in. For those arranging your own transportation, you will check-in and get a parking pass at the central and only Check-In Location. Check-in may not be available until 4:00.
To get to Copper Mountain, exit 195 off of I-70 West and turn right onto Copper Road. Go to the registration desk at Copper Mountain Resort Check-in at the Athletic Club. (On your right about ¼ mile after turning on to Copper Road)
There, you will receive a packet with room key, parking pass if needed, lift ticket and other important information. PLEASE NOTE – We will not have a meal together Wednesday night. But, you will note on your schedule that our first meeting is Wednesday night at 8:30 PM for coffee/ desert and a brief welcome /orientation time. This and all meetings will be in the Conference Center – Big Horn C-1.
Airport
Remember to arrive at the airport at least 2 hours early to allow plenty of time to get your boarding pass, check luggage and get through security. For those of you on the main Gorilla flights please note this year everyone will proceed to check-in and meet at the gate. We will not be handing out packets or E-Tickets. You will find that information in the e-mail Bobby Beddingfield sent you January 17.
Shuttle
Dallas Flight
Charlie Spence (214 557-9375 cell) will again be coordinating in Denver. If you are riding the shuttle to Copper just look for the Yellow Gorilla hats when you claim your luggage. The shuttle bus will be Colorado Charters.Houston Flight
You will be riding the same shuttle with the Dallas Flight, which is scheduled to arrive after you. Meet the Dallas Group at the Frontier Baggage claim for the shuttle bus to Copper. Call Charlie Spence if you cannot find the group.San Antonio Flight

Rentals will be provided by Copper Mountain Rentals (970 968-2318) located next to American Eagle Super Chair in the Center Village. So that they can handle our large group more efficiently, we have a 5:00pm appointment on Wednesday. They will not help you if you arrive before that time.
Wednesday Dinner
As mentioned, you are on your own for dinner Wednesday night, but we will see you at 8:30pm for coffee and dessert. There are a number of places to eat in the Center Village.
